Welcome to Vid2PDF ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and process your information.
1. Eligibility#
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.
2. Account Registration#
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Authentication is handled via AWS Cognito. We do not store your plaintext password.
3. Services Overview#
Vid2PDF enables users to convert YouTube videos into PDF documents using predefined templates and layout options. We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with or without notice.
4. Acceptable Use#
- Do not upload, process, or share adult, violent, or otherwise unlawful content.
- Do not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Do not attempt to bypass security controls, abuse rate limits, or interfere with the Services.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Services without our prior written consent.
5. User Content & YouTube Compliance#
You are solely responsible for any links, text, or assets you provide. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to use and process such content through the Services. You must comply with all applicable laws and the relevant platform terms (including YouTube's Terms of Service and policies).
If you use our Services with YouTube content, you agree to comply with YouTube's Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions, Credits, Trials & Payments#
- New accounts may receive a limited number of free credits for trial use. These credits expire after their stated validity period and are non-transferable.
- Once free credits are exhausted or expired, continued access to the Services requires purchasing a subscription plan that includes a set number of credits per billing cycle.
- Credits are consumed when you use the Services and may not roll over beyond their stated expiration.
- If you cancel your subscription, any unused credits will remain available until their expiration date. After that date, unused credits will be forfeited and your subscription will not renew.
- All subscription purchases are final. We do not provide refunds for partially used billing periods or unused credits.
- Prices, billing cycles, and credit allocations are displayed at checkout and may change prospectively.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers; applicable taxes may apply.
- We may suspend or terminate access for failed or disputed payments.
- Any promotional offers or bonus credits are subject to change or withdrawal at our discretion.
Refunds & Cancellations#
All subscription purchases are final. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to any remaining credits until their stated expiration date. Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not issue refunds for partially used billing periods or unused credits.
7. Intellectual Property#
The Services (including all software, content, trademarks, and brand elements) are owned by Vid2PDF or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
8. Third‑Party Services#
The Services may depend on or link to third‑party services (e.g., AWS, payment processors, YouTube). We are not responsible for third‑party content, policies, or actions. Your use of third‑party services is governed by their terms.
9. Termination#
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services at any time, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability) will survive termination.
10. Disclaimers#
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability#
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vid2PDF and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
12. Indemnification#
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vid2PDF, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution#
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Pakistan for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
14. Changes to These Terms#
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
